To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what the effect of advertising for census enumerators in jobcentres has been on the seasonally adjusted increase in unemployment figures in January.

The effect, if any, is likely to have been extremely small because recruitment began in early January and for the vast majority of jobs advertised the period of employment will not commence until late March.
