§ Mr. YeoThe most recent available information on the characteristics of tenants in rent arrears asked about in the question was given in my Department's report "Preventing Rent Arrears", which was published by HMSO in 1983, when copies were placed in the Library. My Department is currently planning a repeat of this large-scale study, the results of which will be available towards the end of 1992.
