§ Mr. AtkinsHealth education is a cross-curricular theme within the curriculum as a whole, including physical education. The terms of reference of the national curriculum working group on physical education asked it to consider the contribution which physical education can make to health education. The interim report of the group, published in February 1991, identified ways in which this contribution can be made. A copy of the report has been placed in the Library.
