To ask the Secretary of State for Employment whether he has any plans to provide new help to the tourist industry in Bournemouth.

Mr. Jackson

The Department's assistance to the tourism industry is channelled via the English tourist board. In the 1991–92 financial year the English tourist board will make available to the Southern tourist board, which covers Bournemouth, funds totalling £436,000.
