Mr. Rogers

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is the location of, and when he expects to place a contract for the decommissioning of a redundant sewage plant and surrounding area as advertised in the Ministry of Defence contracts bulletin of 11 October 1989.

Mr. Alan Clark

The plant in question is located at the AWE Aldermaston site. We expect to place an initial contract in September of this year.
