§ The Attorney-GeneralThe safety net proposal which is canvassed in the Lord Chancellor's recent consultation paper on eligibility for civil legal aid would extend legal aid to those who may currently be ineligible but who face high costs. It could be of particular help to litigants in medical negligence cases in which costs may be high.
