Mr. Morgan

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what policy considerations governed the choice of Aldbourne Associates for the main housing consultancy contract referred in his parliamentary replies of 23 May,Official Report, column 571, and 6 June, Official Report, column 311;

(2) pursuant to his parliamentary replies of 23 May, Official Report, column 511, and 6 June, Official Report, column 311, how Aldbourne Associates Ltd. was chosen for the housing consultancy contract.

The decision was taken by reference to relevant experience and expertise, the housing management consultancy pool then available, and the expected needs of the priority estates project programme in Wales.
