HC Deb 11 June 1991 vol 192 cc529-30W
Mr. Harry Greenway

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a statement about the introduction of the national record of achievement.

Mr. Jackson

The national record of achievement (NRA) was launched on 27 February. It presents a simple record in summary form of an individual's achievement throughout education, training and working life. The NRA is an important step in motivating individuals to continue with their learning throughout life. To date, more than 1.3 million copies of the NRA have been ordered by schools, colleges and employers.
