§ The Attorney-GeneralThe order made by His Honour Judge Sanders was that the Crown prosecution service should pay the whole of the defence costs post-committal in the case to which the hon. Member refers; and that, failing agreement between the parties as to the amount of such costs, they should be at liberty to apply to him for a determination. It is too soon to say whether agreement as to the amount of the costs will be possible. Moreover, the Director of Public Prosecutions has made application to the divisional court for judicial review of the order for costs.
