To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many dentists have left the national health service in Wales since the implementation of the new contract system.

Overall between 1 October 1990 and 30 April 1991 there was a net decrease of 10 dentists from FHSA dental lists in Wales, which represents 1.1 per cent. of the total.
