To ask the Secretary of State for Defence in respect of which RAF air stations other than RAF Leeming his Department has acquired dwellings with the agreement of their owners.

Since the MOD's noise compensation policy was reviewed in 1985, dwellings have been acquired with the consent of the owners in the vicinity of the following military airfields where the qualifying criteria were met:

  • RAF Stornoway
  • RAF Leeming
  • RAF Upper Heyford
  • RAF Fairford
  • RNAS Yeovilton

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence in respect of which RAF air stations other than RAF Leeming his Department has paid injurious affection compensation to nearby home owners on account of depreciation in value caused by noise disturbance.

Since the MOD's noise compensation policy was reviewed in 1985, injurious affection compensation has been paid to home owners living in the vicinity of the following military airfields where the qualifying criteria were met:

  • RAF Upper Heyford
  • RAF Leuchars
  • RAF Cottesmore
  • 133
  • RAF Coningsby
  • RAF Marsham
  • RAF Wattisham
  • RAF Honington
  • RAF Leeming
  • RNAS Yeovilton
