Major projects under way include BR's investment for channel tunnel passenger and freight services, further new rolling stock for Network SouthEast and the electrification of the east coast main line, due to be completed this summer. London Transport's major investment includes extensions of the Docklands light railway, the Jubilee line extension and east-west crossrail.
