The Minister of State, Home Office (Earl Ferrers)No financial cuts have been made by Her Majesty's Government to the London Fire Service. The assessment for the London Fire and Civil Defence Authority have increased each year since 1986–1987; and the authority's Standard Spending Assessement for 1991–92 represents an increase of 30 per cent. in real terms over the equivalent position for 1986–87.
