Whether they will in future inform themselves of the full terms and conditions of the contracts that commercial firms enter into with third parties when they are allowed to make use of the services of Her Majesty's Forces, given that such forces remain at all times under military command.
§ The Earl of ArranThe terms of a contract between a company and any customer are strictly a matter for those parties. We do however ensure that any contract between the Ministry of Defence and a private company fully safeguards the interests of Her Majesty's armed forces.
