It is unlikely that substantial further numbers will now be received and these figures may be regarded as final. Subsequent revisions to the Scotland total will be published in Statistical Bulletins on Housing Trends in Scotland. Response from local authorities is not yet sufficient to release provisional figures for 1990–91.
