HC Deb 22 July 1991 vol 195 c448W
Mr. Dalyell

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) what steps have so far been taken to identify and discipline those responsible for attempting to pervert the process of the Civil Service Appeals Board in the case of Mr. Colin Wallace;

(2) if he will invite the Metropolitan police to investigate the attempt to pervert the process of the Civil Service Appeals Board in the case of Mr. Colin Wallace;

(3) if he will invite Mr. David Calcutt to conduct a further, open-ended review of the case of Mr. Colin Wallace with a remit to identify all those responsible for the conspiracy to pervert the due process of the Civil Service Appeals Board.

Mr. Archie Hamilton

I have no reason to believe that the officials who communicated with the Civil Service Appeals Board did so other than in good faith. No further inquiries are considered necessary.
