§ Mr. Alan HowarthMy right hon. and learned Friend has received the results of the consultations with students at the college about their future study carried out by an independent assessor, and which the Polytechnics and Colleges Funding Council published on 11 July. The Polytechnics and Colleges Funding Council are currently discussing with college staff the location of their future employment. It will be for the Polytechnics and Colleges Funding Council to take account of the views of staff and students in preparing further advice on the transfer of the college's property, rights and liabilities to other institutions.
