When they will reply to the letter of the Lord Oliver of Aylmerton of 21st March 1991 and publish their written response to the report of the European Communities Committee on Product Safety (15th Report 1989–90 HL 57).
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Trade and Industry (Lord Reay)The Government have today sent their response to the Select Committee's report on the proposed directive on Product Safety. I have placed a copy of the Government's response in the Library of the House. The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Industry and Consumer Affairs has also written to the Lord Oliver of Aylmerton in response to his letter of 21st March.
