§ Mr. StrangTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will set out the sums committed by Her Majesty's Government in humanitarian assistance to Iraq(a) for relief operations for refugees and (b) in total.
§ Mrs. ChalkerSince 4 April 1991, the Government have committed £61.5 million for Iraqi refugees. The Government also committed £18.37 million during 1990–91 for humanitarian assistance to refugees in the Gulf crisis area.
