§ Mr. EggarA total of 189 officers in the Department from grade 7 downwards have duties organised wholly or partly on a territorial basis. Their duties vary with the nature of the post, but broadly consist of liaison on a range of matters with a number of authorities or institutions in a specific geographical area. The estimated total cost is £3,250,000 per annum.
