HC Deb 23 January 1991 vol 184 c224W
29. Mr. Sumberg

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations he has received regarding the adequacy of the provisions contained in the Intoxicating Substances (Supply) Act designed to restrict the sale of solvent-based products to minors.

Mr. Leigh

I have received a small number of representations, but I am satisfied that the provisions in the Intoxicating Substances (Supply) Act are adequate to cut off sniffers' supplies at source. It is now a matter of local enforcement of the law.
