To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his estimate of the value of North sea oil revenues to the United Kingdom Exchequer for the current and coming year.

In the 1990 autumn statement Government revenues from the North sea in 1990–91 were forecast to be £2.7 billion. A provisional estimate for 1990–91 and a forecast for 1991–92 will be published at Budget time.
