§ Mr. CurryThe draft European Community regulation on the production and labelling of organic foods already contains provision for the use on organic foods, except on those processed foods which are only partially composed of organic ingredients, of a reference to the EC control system. Further, if the regulation is adopted, it will be illegal to sell food as organic unless it has been produced in accordance with the regulation.
The term conservation grade is a certification trade mark owned by the Guild of Conservation Food Producers.
