§ Mrs. RumboldMy right hon. Friend recently attended the annual banquet of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. A visit to the Glasgow central mosque, planned for 18 January, had to be postponed and rearranged for a date in May. However, I met representatives of the United Kingdom action committee on Islamic affairs on 23 January. Such meetings reflect continuing contacts at ministerial and official level.
