§ Mr. FreemanProposals for the introduction of class 471 Networkers on Kent coast routes are still being assessed by British Rail and my Department has not yet received a detailed investment submission. I understand that British Rail is examining whether the project might be brought forward in the light of other investment priorities and its overall financial situation.
