£ million 1987–88 1,611.1 1988–89 1,362.9 1989–90 1,230.5 Although it is possible to identify some of the payments which have been made to the agricultural industry in Northern Ireland—details of which are held in the Northern Ireland Appropriation Accounts 1987–88, 1989–90—it is not possible to disaggregate all United Kingdom common agricultural policy expenditure in this way.
