I have asked the Nature Conservancy Council for Scotland to write to the hon. Member with the information requested.

§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe Joint Nature Conservation Committee is the statutory committee 577W through which the Nature Conservancy Councils for England and Scotland and the Countryside Council for Wales exercise their responsibilities on matters of national and international importance. The JNCC is required to make an annual report on its activities and place a copy in the House. The decision whether to publish or circulate minutes is a matter for the councils.
