§ Mr. Lennox-BoydAs observers at this year's Commission on Human Rights, our delegation is playing an active part in its work. I visited Geneva on 4–5 February and gave a speech to the commission, a copy of which is being placed in the Library of the House. We shall continue our efforts in the remaining weeks of the commission and beyond to promote respect for fundamental human rights and to urge compliance by all states with their international obligations in this field.
