§ Mr. YeoThe Wyrley Birch estate action scheme was approved by the Department on 24 November 1989 and was scheduled for completion in 1991–92. The £45 million package of works involves nearly 300 flats and maisonettes, which will benefit from refurbishment works, new security measures including a concierge scheme and environmental works. We understand that the works, which are being undertaken by Birmingham city council, are progressing satisfactorily.
