§ Mr. YeoHigher thermal insulation standards and other energy conservation measures were incorporated in the amendments to the building regulations and supporting approved documents which took effect on 1 April 1990. We shall be examining the scope for further measures of this kind once we have been able to monitor how the current requirements are working in practice, and in particular whether they are giving rise to any technical problems.
