Mr. Spearing

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will place in the Library the text of the reports submitted by coalition Governments to the meeting of the United Nations Security Council held on 24 January.

I am arranging for copies to be placed in the Library of the House of reports submitted to the Security Council on or before 4 February on action taken pursuant to Security Council resolution 678.

Mrs. Mahon

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs which permanent member of the United Nations has vetoed most United Nations Security Council resolutions; and which country has vetoed the second highest number of resolutions since 1961.
