HL Deb 07 February 1991 vol 525 cc63-4WA
Lord Kennet

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether in view of the Brazilian-Argentine nuclear co-operation agreement signed in 1990 to make possible a project to market enriched uranium pellets so that the Brazilian Government can pay off $4 billion for the nuclear programme which it contracted under an agreement with the West German Government in June 1975, as a depository signatory of the Non Proliferation Treaty, they will discuss the implications of these developments with the German Government and others.

The Earl of Caithness

We regularly discuss a range of non-proliferation issues with the German authorities and other interested parties.
