To ask the Lord President of the Council if he will list the airline used and the desination of each of the overseas visits undertaken by the Select Committee on Trade and Industry for the last 12 months; and if he will make a statement.

Since January 1990 the Committee has undertaken three visits overseas. The arrangements made in respect of each visit were as follows. The first, in February 1990, was to Brussels using Air Europe and British Airways, except for one Member who travelled between Newcastle and Brussels by Sabena. The second, in May 1990, was to Oslo, Helsinki, Stockholm and Reykjavik; the flights to Oslo and from Stockholm were by British Airways; between Oslo, Helsinki, and Stockholm by Finnair; between Stockholm, Reykjavik and Glasgow by Icelandair; between Glasgow and London by British Airways. The third in June 1990 was to Zurich, Berne and Vienna; the flights to Zurich and from Vienna were by British Airways; and by Swissair between Zurich and Vienna.
