To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the cost of the assisted places scheme for the current financial year.

The estimated cost of the scheme in the current financial year is £7.49 million.

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give details of the means-tested limits of the assisted places scheme and the distribution of pupils in terms of the levels of financial support received.
