Whether they and their allies will extend the exclusion zone in north Iraq from the 36th to the 35th Parallel.
The Earl of CaithnessIraqi forces are forbidden to make flights by fixed wing or rotary aircraft over the exclusion zone. However, UN Security Council Resolution 688 demanded an end to repression throughout Iraq. We expect the Iraqi Government to meet its obligations under that resolution and will not tolerate any renewed repression of the Iraqi people.
