What international measures are being taken to restrain the production of heroin in Burma and to prevent its export.

The UN International Drugs Control Programme (UNDCP), who have a field officer based in Rangoon, are working to reduce heroin production in Burma. The UNDCP are promoting joint projects and discussions between Burma, Thailand and China, aimed at improving co-operation on cross-border interdiction.
