To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will list those local authorities which have registered hairdressing establishments within their areas under section 77 of the Public Health Act 1961.

There is no requirement under section 77 of the Public Health Act 1961 or any other general legislation for the registration of hairdressing establishments.
