asked Her Majesty's Government:

What action the United Nations Secretary General is taking to monitor the situation of Palestinian civilians under Israeli occupation; whether a first progress report was submitted in March 1991 and, if so, whether they will place a copy in the Library.

The UN Secretary General is monitoring the situation in the Occupied Territories as requested by UN Security Council Resolution 681. He submitted a report on 9th April 1991. A copy has been placed in the Library.
