To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assistance in commerce and in education is being provided for Nigeria and Ghana.

We do not consider that the large-scale resettlement of Iraqi Kurds in Western countries is an answer to the current problem. All asylum applications made in the United Kingdom are considered in accordance with the United Nations convention on refugees.
