To ask the Secretary of State for Transport whether he will increase the funding for London Regional Transport for 1991–92.

Mr. Freeman

The Government are reviewing the level of funding required by London Transport in 1991–92. An announcement will be made as soon as possible.

Mr. Harry Greenway

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many passengers travelled on London Transport on average(a) in 1990, (b) five years ago and(c) 15 years ago; and if he will make a statement.
