HL Deb 31 October 1990 vol 522 c1892WA
The Countess of Mar

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What is likely to be the highest amount paid to an individual claimant of one type of social security benefit.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Social Security (Lord Henley)

The highest amount payable on one order book foil varies between benefits. For instance, for retirement pension or child benefit the amount could not exceed £200 but for invalidity benefit the limit is £100.
