§ Mr. Alan HowarthThe Department's projection published in April was that, at over 208,000, the number of home students entering full-time higher education this autumn would be more than 4 per cent. above last year's record level. That projection, which my right hon. Friend has said may be too low, is currently being revised in the light of the latest information.
