§ Mr. Douglas Hogg[holding answer 19 October 1990]: United Kingdom payments receipts from the European regional development fund in 1987, 1988 and 1989 were valued at £321 million, £351 million and £386 million, respectively. Payments in 1990 are expected to exceed £400 million.
