Mr. Mullin

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what financial contributions his Department is making to RELATE; if it plans to increase its contribution; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. John Patten

In the present financial year RELATE will receive a grant of £1,306,840, which includes a special grant of £300,000. I am not yet in a position to say what its grant for the following year will be.
