§ The Prime MinisterFamilies on income support do not gain any overall financial advantage from child benefit because it is taken fully into account in the assessment of their income support entitlement. As my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Social Security has indicated on many occasions, this is one of the factors he has to take into account when he reviews the level of child benefit.
