HL Deb 22 November 1990 vol 523 c29WA
Lord Hylton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Where in Eastern Europe and the Balkans they now maintain consulates; and whether they intend to establish new ones.

The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (The Earl of Caithness)

Consular representation in Eastern Europe and the Balkans is presently confined to British Embassies in national capitals, except in Yugoslavia, where there are also honorary consulates in Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik. There is no British Embassy or consular representation in Albania.

Overseas consular representation is kept under constant review.
