§ Mr. FallonThe average share of the potential schools budget distributed to schools by shire counties is 77.4 per cent.; Cumbria local education authority distributes 71.2 per cent. The general schools budget of Cumbria local education authority is £149 million. All Cumbria's 361 primary and secondary schools will have control of their own budgets by April 1992.
