§ Mr. WaldegraveOur contacts with the Ethiopian Government enable us to raise human rights issues, to take action to relieve famine and to urge a negotiated settlement of the long-standing civil wars in that country. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and I met the Ethiopian Foreign Minister in London on 4 April.
