§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe vast majority of nursing staff in the Scottish prison service hold one or more of the following nursing qualifications: state enrolled nurse (SEN), registered mental nurse (RMN), registered general nurse (RGN), or the Scottish Council of Midwives (SCM). Prison medical officers all hold recognised degrees.
