What protests they have made against the closure of Palestinian schools and universities by the Israeli authorities; and what Israeli cultural exhibitions in the United Kingdom will be assisted with public funds in 1990 and 1991.
§ The Minister of State, Home Office (Lord Brabazon of Tara)We continue to take every opportunity to press the Israelis, bilaterally and with our EC partners, to allow all Palestinian educational facilities to function without restriction. Some public funds will be used in support of an Israeli visual and performing arts festival to take place at the Barbican in 1991 under the auspices of Visiting Arts.
